July 22, 2018 – Germantown, WI – On Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:44 p.m. Germantown Police officers responded to a disorderly subject at a local business located off of County Line Road in the Village of Gernantown.
Prior to officers arrival the disorderly subject left the business on foot.
While officers were looking for the subject Germantown Communications received a call from a motorist reporting they had struck a pedestrian on southbound Interstate 41 just south of County Line Road.
Officers arrived on scene of the crash and discovered one adult male deceased.
Injuries appeared consistent with those of a traffic crash. The driver of the striking vehicle was traveling southbound on Interstate 41 in the center lane when the victim ran across the road and was struck.
The driver of the striking vehicle suffered no injuries.
At this time no names are being released pending notification of the victims family and the ongoing nature of the investigation.
