December 29, 2021 – Sheboygan Co., WI – On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at approximately 1:23 p.m., the Sheboygan County Emergency Communication Center received several 911 calls about a vehicle crash on I43 northbound near DeWitt Road, in the Town of Holland.
Preliminary investigation revealed a northbound vehicle left the travel lanes and struck the guardrail face. The driver was found to be deceased. No other vehicles were involved, and the incident was witnessed.
All northbound traffic on I43 is being diverted off at State Highway 32 (Cedar Grove).
The following public safety agencies assisted in this incident: Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, Cedar Grove Fire Department, Cedar Grove First Responders, Orange Cross Ambulance, and the Sheboygan County Highway Department.
