July 6, 2020 – Village of Richfield, WI – On July 5, 2020, at 6:20 p.m. the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single vehicle motorcycle crash, on Highway 175 south of Pioneer Road in the Village of Richfield.
Deputies responded along with the Richfield Fire Department.
Deputies found a severely injured 57-year-old City of Milwaukee man lying in the road.
Life saving measures were performed, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, as a result of the crash.
Evidence indicates the motorcycle was being driven northbound on Highway 175. It left the northbound lane onto the shoulder, and struck the guardrail.
The crash is still under investigation but alcohol use is believed to be a contributing factor.
