January 5, 2021 – West Bend, WI – As predicted there will be a primary election in West Bend on February 16, 2021 as three candidates vye for one aldermanic seat in District 2.
Jeremy Hahn, owner of Garden Lounge, Inferno and the Boardroom in downtown West Bend, gathered signatures and completed paperwork on Tuesday and met the 5 p.m. filing deadline with about 25 minutes to spare.
Hahn will faceoff against Chris Thompson and Dist. 2 incumbent Mark Allen.
There are contested races in the remaining three even districts.
Other races on the spring ballot:
– Scott Stortz is running for Village President in Slinger.
- Kevin Scheunemann filed papers to run again as Village President in Kewaskum
- Trustees running in the Village of Kewaskum include James Hovland, James Wright and Dave Spenner.
- Ric Leitheiser and Jim Leister filed papers to run in for the Kewaskum School Board
- Heather Rodriguez is running for both HUHS school board and Hartford Joint 1 School Board.
- In the City of Hartford papers have been filed by Doug Carroll, Alderperson, 2nd District and Joe Kohler, Alderperson, 1st District and Tony Garza, Alderperson, 3rd District.
