Washington County, WI – Korean War combat veteran and Commander of the Korean War Veterans Cpl. Bell Chapter 111, Norbert Carter has been active in the National Flag Day Foundation for many years.
At this year’s event, he is pictured (above) receiving the Jack Jarnik Patriotism Award. Carter was also chosen to be the Parade Grand Marshall.
Chapter 111 has been participating in the National Flag Day Observance for many years. The chapter normally enters a vehicle as well as a color guard.
As part of the Flag Day Observance, Chapter 111 also presents a check to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight.
