Behind-the-scenes look at 165th annual Washington County Fair

Washington Co., Wi – Lots of hard work is underway as 4-H clubs, vendors, and the Fair Park team prep for the 165th annual Washington County Fair, July 25 – 30.

The fair kicks off Tuesday afternoon July 25 at 3 p.m., with judging in the Equestrian Arena at 5:15 p.m., open class entries accepted in the Ziegler Family Expo Building, at 5 p.m. the carnival opens and at dusk opening night fireworks by Morrie’s West Bend Honda.

Some great news to make it easy to attend this year’s Washington County Fair on two of the busiest days. There will be a free shuttle service on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29.

It is free to ride, and each adult will receive a coupon for 1 free drink upon arriving at the Fairgrounds.

The shuttles will run starting at 3 p.m. and last drop off at midnight.

Large crowds are expected both those evenings and fairgoers are highly encouraged to use the shuttles or start your fair day earlier.
