Germantown doubles down on Menomonee Falls and clinches 5th win in a row | By Jason Howarth

January 20, 2022 – Germantown, WI – The Germantown Warhawks proved their dominance against the Menomonee Falls early and often in this Greater Metro Conference matchup, with superior shooting, defense, and rebounding.

Germantown was able to force a bevy of turnovers and would often get two or three chances with every shot attempted.

The Warhawks jumped out to a ridiculous early lead in the opening minutes and carried that momentum to a score of 54-19 at the half.

The Warhawks were deadly in nearly all scoring facets, most notably sinking 11 3-pointers, and going 9 for 16 (56%) at the free-throw line.

Germantown did let up in the second half and was nearly outscored by Menomonee Falls 28-26, but the stellar first half of play combined with a strong second half lead to an 82-45 victory for the Warhawks.

Germantown junior Kamorea “KK” Arnold lead the team with 27 total points, including going 4 for 6 from the free-throw line.

Germantown (12-4, 9-1) now has a five-game winning streak heading down the final stretch of the season and will next take on Oak Creek, Saturday January 22, 2022 at 2:15 p.m. in the Pius XI Tournament.

Menomonee Falls drops 9-7 overall (3-7 in conference) and will play its next game against Sussex Hamilton on Tuesday January 25, 2022 at 7 p.m.
