February 17, 2022 – Hartford, WI – Mayor Tim Michalak announced at the February 8, 2022, Council meeting that in his discussions with the owners of Culver’s, he learned they are planning on a total clean-up of the old Culver’s sight located in front of Piggly Wiggly at 1570 E. Sumner St., yet this month.
The location had been under investigation as to the origin of the September 11, 2021 fire for quite some time.
With many groups involved in that investigation, including suppliers, manufacturers, insurance companies and attorneys, the investigation and deliberation took longer than they would have liked.
Shortly after the site is cleared, a new building is expected to be erected for a new business.
