September 26, 2023 – Hartford, WI – Monday evening, September 25, 2023, Hartford Police investigated an individual who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, reportedly while in a vehicle. It is unknown the events that led up to the individual being wounded in the leg.
Others on scene who were with the individual who suffered the gunshot wound, including the wounded party, are not cooperating with authorities.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing with the hope of uncovering the sequence of events leading up to the incident.

The incident occurred between 8:30 pm and 9:00 pm on 09/25/2023. We believe the individuals involved may have travelled on Grand Avenue, Union Street, and Main Street. Any assistance is appreciated.
