Hoot House Owls for Owies legacy continues with donation at St. Joe’s this afternoon

Nov. 20, 2017 – West Bend, WI – There is going to be a special delivery later this afternoon to the emergency room at St. Joseph’s Hospital as graduates from the Hoot House nanny care continue making a donation in memory of their leader.

Earlier this year Alina Ellis and her father Herb both died on March 2, 2017. The story drew a lot of attention and today Alina’s legacy lives on as her Owls for Owies program makes a presentation of stuffed Beanie Baby owls to sick children at the hospital.

The Owls for Owies program has become a non-profit and will continue to bring a little bit of Hoot House joy to children in hospitals.

This afternoon’s drop-off will be the first since Alina’s passing. Some of the Hoot House kids will be there to make the donation.
