April 18, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Horicon Bank has earned a spot on the list of top places to work in Wisconsin for seven years in a row.
Each year the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ranks Wisconsin employers based on results of an extensive survey process conducted by Energage, LLC. The “Top Workplaces” list is based solely on employee feedback.
Employee comments shared in survey results are kept anonymous, but comments highlighted Horicon Bank’s employee culture.
“I believe in our culture. Our leaders value the employees. That is so important. We are a top-notch bank and provide superior products and services. We are treated with respect,” said one employee.
Other comments emphasize flexibility, teamwork and a workplace of respect.
President Frederick Schwertfeger stated, “We are honored and humbled to receive this award for the seventh year in a row. Our goal is to live up to the mission of being a caring workplace. It is rewarding to hear that our employees see Horicon Bank living out that mission.”
