Dec. 26, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Quite a few neighbors in West Bend plan to come downtown over the next two days to take photos of the West Bend Theatre sign as it’s scheduled to be removed Thursday, Dec. 27.
Poblocki Sign Company is going to restore the sign and the marquee. It will be transported to the Poblocki shop for electrical, carpentry and painting.
​The reinstallation of both the sign and marquee is slated for this summer.
​There are 235 bulbs on each face of the sign, for a total of 470. That doesn’t include the bulbs on the marquee.
​The new bulbs will all be LED for conservation purposes.
