The West Bend School Board approved the appointment this week and Daul starts in the district August 18. Questions about Daul’s salary and whether he intends to stay on the entire year have been posed to the district. An update will be posted when information becomes available.

According to Dr. Daul’s LinkedIn account he has worked in the Pewaukee School District for 35+ years.  While his account information indicates he is still working in Pewaukee, the district is reporting he is a retired public school administrator. The district writes, “Since retiring, he has served as interim principal for the Oak Creek-Franklin and Richmond School Districts and as a consultant for the West Bend School District since 2021.”

The district has also hired two assistant high school principals.

Laura Krause-Emerick is the new assistant principal at East High School. She was a science teacher in the Fond du Lac School District for about 12 years.

Susan Saric is the new assistant principal at West Bend West.  Saric has been with the West Bend School District since 2017. Prior to that, she was in the Richfield School District for seven years.

It was July 12, 2022, when the district announced Lisa Paulin had accepted the assistant principal position at West High School. Paulin previously had been dean of students at Badger Middle School.  An update on the switch will be posted when information becomes available.

Finally, Robert Feldkamp is the new Dean of Students for Badger Middle School. Feldkamp was a physical education teacher at Silverbrook Intermediate School for the past 15 years.
