Kettle Moraine Lutheran gears up to face Martin Luther H.S. in WIAA D3 regional championship. By Jacob Moeller

March 4, 2017 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran will compete for a WIAA Division 3 regional championship on tonight against the Spartans of Martin Luther. MLHS is 20-3 on the year, and ranked 4th in the state.

Leading the Spartans is sophomore point guard Trequan Carrington, who averages 18.2 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Supporting Carrington are fellow sophomores Ace Evans and Xzavier Jones, who average 14.1 and 12.7 points respectively.

Martin Luther loves an up-tempo style, and this leads to many high scoring affairs.

To take them down, KML will have to take care of the ball and continue playing tough defense, like it did in Friday’s victory over University School.

The game will tip off at 7 p.m. tonight at Martin Luther High School in Greendale.
