February 19, 2020- Jackson, WI- After many months of preparation, Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School’s highly anticipated musical performance of Little Women is nearly here.
Little Women the Musical is the same beloved tale as Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, with the addition of a myriad of catchy songs. This coming-of-age tale follows the four March sisters as they experience life, love, and loss in post-Civil War America.
As KML senior Bekah White described the show, “It is a stunning production that will tug at your heart strings”.
This week is tech week, and the actors have been hard at work rehearsing; sometimes for up to eight hours.
“At this point we are putting everything together and working out technical things like costumes, transitions, and lighting,” said KML senior Grace Bierman. “It’s going to be a great show. All of the people involved have worked so hard and it really shows in what we do”.
Performances will be held Friday and Saturday, February 21 and 22, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, February 23, at 2 p.m. in the KML Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be sold online HERE and at the door.
