September 17, 2019 – Hartford, WI – Hartford Union High School (HUHS) named David Eagan the new head coach for varsity boys baseball.
Eagan was the varsity baseball coach for Appleton North High School from 2010-2019 and earned two Fox Valley Association Conference Titles, six WIAA Regional Titles, and two WIAA Spring Baseball State Tournament appearances.
He has the 12th highest winning percent among active high school baseball coaches in Wisconsin (185-71).
Eagan was also District IV Coach of the year twice, WBCA All Star Classic Coach twice. Eagan has coached 53 players that have gone on to play at the D1, D2, D3, JUCO, and NAIA levels. Ten of the 53 were at the D1 level and three were drafted and signed professional contacts with Major League Baseball teams.
