Obit: Harold “Butch” Neu, 66, Neosho

Harold J. “Butch” Neu, age 66 of Neosho, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.

 

He was born on September 14, 1949 in Hartford, WI to Hugo and Catherine (nee Komp) Neu. He was united in marriage to Arline Behnke on June 12, 1976 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.

 

Butch worked at Broan Nutone for 40 years and was also a founding member of the Neosho and Rubicon Lions Club and volunteered for the organ donor network. He also enjoyed gardening, music, and spending time with family, especially, his grandchildren.

 

Butch is survived by his loving wife Arline; his three sons, Kevin (Lahnie) of Horicon, Bruce (Marsha) of Slinger, and Keith (Erica) of Richfield; beloved grandchildren, Lahn, Autumn, Isabella, Tristen, Asher, Malia, Cameron, Gabriel, and Ava. Siblings Wayne (Donna) Neu, Naureen (Fred) Pfeiffer, and Kathy (Roger) Horst; brothers-in-law, Brian (Patti) Behnke and Ed (Debbie) Behnke. He is further survived by other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

 

Harold was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Funeral Services for Butch will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford, WI 53027) with Pastor Joshua Kesting officiating.  Family will greet relatives and friends at Shimon Funeral Home on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 3:00 –until the 6:00 p.m. service.

 

Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Neosho, WI
