Hilda S. Hanson of Grafton died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the age of 96. Hilda was born in the Town of Portland, WI on November 12, 1919 the daughter of the late Anton and Helga (Nee Hansen) Matiak. Hilda worked for Tecumseh Products for over 30 years. She enjoyed music, animals and traveling.
Hilda is survived by her nieces: Dona Czarnecki and Lona (Gary) Bub. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband Chester Hanons and her son Roland Selbo. Hilda requested no formal funeral services and her remains will be placed in Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton, WI.
