Obit: Loyola “Loy” Pawlowski, 83, West Bend

Loyola “Loy” M. Pawlowski (Nee Hemmerich), age 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2016. She was born to George and Anne (Nee Murphy) Hemmerich on July 31, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI.  She married the love of her life, the late, Jerome Pawlowski in 1971.

Loy enjoyed traveling and entertaining. She will always be remembered for throwing elaborate parties, making sure no detail was missed.  She especially like going to Festa Italiana and trying new restaurants.  Loy thoroughly enjoyed living on Big Cedar Lake and taking family and friends for pontoon boat rides. She was a dedicated teacher in the Milwaukee Public School system for 35 years.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, her dear sisters, Georgian, Arline, Lucile and brother Gerald. She is survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. 7th, Ave. West Bend, WI) with Father Walter Vogel & Father Nathan Reesman presiding.  Visitation will be held the same day from 12:00 PM until the time of service.  Interment will be at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery in West Bend, WI.
