Robert E. Dunlap age 86 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2016 at his home.

He was born on October 19, 1929 to Fred and Cena (nee Johnson) Dunlap in West Salem, WI. He was united in marriage to Lois Scott on December 1, 1956.

Robert was an intellect and worked his way to the dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin; he had a deep passion for politics and was very patriotic. Robert worked for over 25 years at Broan Nutone in Hartford. He was a member of the Hartford Lions Club and held every office available. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, fishing, and anything to do with the railroad.

He is survived by his loving children, Diane (Gary) Chapman and Gregory Dunlap; grandchildren, Matthew (Katie), Michelle (Jacky), Nicholas, Melanie, and Jonathan. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois in 2012; son, Jeffery; his siblings, Richard, Rex, Norma, Ralph, and Rose.

Memorial Services for Robert will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St. Hartford, WI 53027) with Rev. Jeremy Deaner officiating.  Family will greet relatives and friends at Shimon Funeral Home on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 1:00p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Inurnment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Hartford, Wisconsin.
