Obit: Ruth A. Krueger (nee Seward), 97, of West Bend

Jan. 9, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Ruth A. Krueger (nee Seward), 97, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

She was born on March 15, 1920 to the late Roy and Cora (nee McLyman) Seward in Goodrich, WI. On September 5, 1940 she was united in marriage to Lester Krueger in Dubuque, IA. During World War II, she worked with her husband at Badger Ordinance Works in Baraboo, which was the largest munitions factory in the world during WWII. Later Ruth worked for many years as a bank teller at Park State Bank in Milwaukee. She loved northern Wisconsin and Big Band music. Ruth liked German music, architecture, and food. She enjoyed baking and cooking. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Ruth leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Dianne Menke and Leslie Gregoriou; six grandchildren, Courtney (Peter) Albinger, Kirsten (Kevin Arsenault) Menke, Lester (Kristine) Menke, Marnie (Mark) Miserendino, Kimberly (Dennis) Whiting, and Joseph (Kari) Gregoriou; ten great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jessica, Heather, Gunner, Allie, Emma, Justin, Toryn, Reise, and Gauge; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Krueger and her great-grandson, Leslie Joseph.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
