Obit: Shirley M. Liermann, 76, of West Bend

Nov. 11, 2016 – West Bend, WI – Shirley M. Liermann (nee Truenbenbach), age 76, of West Bend passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.  She was born in Milwaukee on May 7, 1940 to the late Walter and Arlene (Goedde) Truenbenbach.  She married Paul Liermann on August 25, 1957.  Shirley had been employed by The Threshold and was a lifelong member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Paul; daughters Laural Haessly of St. Paul, MN and Karen (Cliff) Hall of Janesville; seven grandchildren: Nicholas Haessly (Melissa Christianson), Katie (Alex) Dickenson, Dakota, Trisha, Olivia, Martin and Elliott Hall; six great-grandchildren, Emma, Connor, and Evangeline Haessly, Jameson Christianson, Ella and Ivy Dickenson; sister Judy (Brian) Harris; sister-in-law Sharon (Ronald) Geidel; and other close family and friends.

Shirley is preceded in death by great-granddaughter Gianna Haessly; sister-in-law Lucille (Orville) Kocher; brothers-in-law Elroy (Harriet) Liermann and Carl (Myrtle) Liermann.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Pilgrim Lutheran Church (462 Meadowbrook Drive, West Bend) with Pastor Joseph Fisher presiding.  The visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM.  Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park on Monday, November 14th at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Washington County Humane Society (3650 WI-60 Trunk, Slinger, WI  53086) or Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
