But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.

She enjoyed playing sheepshead and was in several card clubs. She liked to stay busy by stitching plastic canvas, crocheting, and doing 1000-piece puzzles.

Bernice was a woman of strong faith and prayed the Rosary daily.

She is further survived by 11 great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Kaylie Schelinske; Nicholas, Adam, Rachel, Ryan, and Anna Gergetz; Mason Fechter; Samantha (Justin) Schultz; and Bo and Luke Keller; 1 great-great-granddaughter Gabby Schultz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Hausmann; her husband Joseph Wollner; her husband’s parents, Theodore and Mary Wollner; her siblings, Jerome (Anna) Hausmann, Leroy (Rose) (Jeanette) Hausmann, Lorraine (Roman) Puestow; and 2 brothers-in-law, Ray (Bernadine) Wollner, and Julius (Gertrude) Wollner.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff of Ivy Manor and the 2nd floor staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and a special thank you to the ICU at St. Joseph’s Hospital and the staff of The Kathy Hospice, for the loving and compassionate care given to Bernice.
