Obituary | Diane M. (Lucka) Rosenheimer, 60, of West Bend

October 10, 2019 – West Bend, WI – Diane M. Rosenheimer (nee Lucka), 60, of West Bend, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 following a courageous two-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Diane had many accomplishments but the most important to her was that of a dedicated wife and mother. She graduated from Lakeland College with a degree in Medical Technology, and later earned a master’s degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University. She was a medical technologist, laboratory manager, involved church member and teacher’s aide at St. Frances Cabrini School.

She loved chocolate, Diet Pepsi, reading, crossword puzzles and mystery TV shows.

Diane is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Lay Rosenheimer; much-loved son, Matt; parents, Richard and Darlene Lucka; siblings, Laurie Lucka, Karen (Bob) Laude, Rich (Rebecca) Lucka, Bob (Nora) Lucka, and Mary Jo Lucka; further survived by nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend. Diane’s family will greet relatives and friends at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A Celebration of Life will be held afterward at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home (West Bend).

Memorials in memory of Diane can be made to The Kathy Hospice (West Bend), Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance, or the West Bend Community Memorial Library.

The family would like to thank the staff of Aurora Cancer Care (Grafton) and The Kathy Hospice for their dedicated care and loving attention.
