October 10, 2019 – West Bend, WI – James “Jim” Meyerhoff, 83, was called home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2019 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born on August 11, 1936 in Readlyn, Iowa to Arnold and Lillian Meyerhoff (Ernsting). He was united in marriage to Judith “Judy” Glasgow. Judy passed away in 2010.
Those Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory include Robert “Bob” Meyerhoff, Roberta Brewer, Margaret (Joel) Ruprecht, and Kathy (John) Hirsch; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Tafoya. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Judy; Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Trinklein, sister-in-law, Ellen Meyerhoff; and two brothers-in-law, Roland Trinklein and Michael Brewer.
Memorial Service for Jim will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Ave. – West Bend, WI 53095, with Rev. David Nieman officiating. Interment at Cedar Community Memorial Gardens in West Bend.
Jim’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at the Cottages at Cedar Community for the loving care they provided.
