June 6, 2022 – Farmington, WI – Gary Robert Schreiber, 79, of Farmington, was called home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Gary was born on January 29, 1942, in Milwaukee to Robert and Laverne Schrieber. He was united in marriage to Melody (nee Krogsund) on February 22, 1964.
Gary spent 34 years as a Detective for the Milwaukee Police Department, and he proudly served as the chairman of Farmington. He earned the nickname “Ambassador” from the Walden’s/Wallace Lake Supper Club where he worked as a bartender for many years.
Those Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Melody; two daughters, Kim and Jodi; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Robert Schreiber.
In honor of Gary’s wishes, no services will be held.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassion.
RIP Gary. I always enjoyed seeing you and talking to you. I wish we would have had a chance to golf together. You and your family will be in my nightly prayers.
