Obituary | Geraldine Beatrice Cibik, 92, of West Bend

February 24, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Geraldine B. Cibik (nee Zetting), “Jeri”, 92, of West Bend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, at her home, on Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Jeri was born August 17, 1927 to Jane and Joseph and Jane (nee Hagemann) Zetting in Milwaukee, WI. On June 28, 1958 she married Emil Cibik in Milwaukee. Jeri worked at JCPenney’s for over 23 years before retiring and moving up north to Crandon, which was their home until Emil fell sick. She has lived in West Bend off and on for eight years. She was a member of Holy Angels Church in West Bend and St. Marys Church in Pickerel, WI.

Jeri will be missed by her loving daughters, Dianne (Michael) O’Connor and Janice Corbeille; her cherished grandchildren, Kelly Swain, Rob Hildebrandt (Jean) and Kathleen (Rob Simek) Hildebrandt; her special granddaughter Julene Swirth, 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister Charlotte Reinke and a brother J. Franklin Zetting; special nieces Jeanne, Cheryl, and Ellen; other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeri was preceded in death by her loving husband, Emil and her sisters Betty Ann Kaminski and Muriel Zindl; brothers, Lawrence, Walter, and Edward Zetting; sister-in-law, Helen Junkano; granddaughters, Sherry Swain and Lisa Sonsthagen.

A Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at The Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, with Rev. Mark Jansen officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 12:45  p.m. In lieu of flowers consider donations to DIG, (Development In Gardening).
