February 24, 2020 – West Bend, WI –Lorraine A. Riemer (nee Wilhelm), 100, of West Bend passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
She was born on May 4, 1919 to the late Mathew and Bertha (nee Resch) Wilhelm in Antigo, WI. On April 21 1945, she was united in marriage to Albert Riemer Jr. in Cedarburg, WI. Lorraine enjoyed volunteer work and playing duplicate bridge. She achieved the rank of Life Master. Family was most important spending time with her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those Lorraine leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two children, Michael (Karen) Riemer of South Carolina and Nancy (Jeff) Rex of West Bend, WI.; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Rosalie Kiehnau; a son-in-law, Rick Lendosky; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Riemer Jr.; three children, Tom (Judy) Riemer, Jerry Riemer, and Mary Lendosky; four brothers and one sister.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg, WI, where she was a member. Rev. Kevin Kowalske will officiate.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Fields in West Bend for all their help and care.
The Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service have been entrusted with Lorraine’s arrangements.
