January 21, 2020 – West Bend, WI –Judith “Judy” K. Ooton (nee Hansan), 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. She was born on April 24, 1951 in Sparta, WI to Casper and Lorraine (nee Mashak) Hansan. Judy enjoyed shopping, the casino and sitting outside chatting with neighbors. She especially loved her work family and spending time watching sporting events involving her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her daughters Tammy (Jim) Olson and Wendy (Robert) Rogness. She is further survived by her grandchildren Fischer Olson, Amelia Olson, Kaden Smith, Griffin Smith, Evan Smith, sister Delores (Donald) Ooton, brothers Sylvester and Darrell (Kathy) Hansen, brother-in-law Omer Bethhauser, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold, her parents, two sisters Arlene Bethhauser and Jeanette (Lenus) Forry.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. Eighth Ave. West Bend, WI 53095, with Rev. Howard Haase presiding. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday, February 8 from 11 a.m. am until 12:45 p.m.
