Obituary | Marcella Louise Schultz, 91, of West Bend

February 18, 2020 – West Bend, WI –Marcella L. Schultz (nee Voigt), entered her eternal home on Saturday February 15, 2020 at the age of 91, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 24, 1928 in Jackson to Herbert and Meta (nee Frank) Voigt. She married the love of her life Vernon Schultz on August 25th, 1951 in Richmond, Virginia. Marcella worked at the Old Fashioned bakery for many years. She enjoyed family gatherings, baking, and most of all cutting her grass.

Marcella is survived by five loving and caring daughters; Maxine (Craig) Zuest, Nancy (special friend Gerry) Schultz, Yvonne (Jerry) Thielke, Sherie Schultz and Michele (Dan) Ellenbecker. She is further survived by five grandsons and one great-granddaughter all of who she cherished deeply; Travis, Brennan and Tyler (Amy) Groh, Cody (Janelle) Ott and Ben Ellenbecker and great-granddaughter Amaila (Mia) Groh. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vernon, son Anthony and grandson Cory Ott, amongst other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Marcella will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22 at David’s Star Lutheran Church, 2750 David’s Star Dr. Jackson, with Rev. Kurt Loescher presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will take place at David’s Star Cemetery.

Memorials to David’s Star Lutheran Church are appreciated.

A special thank you to Pastor Woldt, Pastor Loescher, and Sue Bolha for all their support and multiple visits throughout the years. In addition, a special thank you to her daughters Sherie, Maxine and Michele for their dedication and nurturing care provided to mom through all these years, as well as countless other caregivers.
