Obituary | Margaret E. “Peggy” Hageman-Pinkowski (Rabener), 93, of West Bend

January 10, 2020 – West Bend, WI –Margaret “Peggy” E. Hageman-Pinkowski (nee Rabener), 93, of West Bend, formerly of Milwaukee, found eternal peace on Friday, January 10, 2020 at the New Perspectives in West Bend. She was born on September 13, 1926 to the late Ernest and Margaret (nee Frailey) Rabener. In 1946 she married Raymond Hageman who preceded her in death in 1975. She then married her soul mate Leonard Pinkowski, who preceded her in death in 2010.

Peggy graduated from Riverside High School in 1944. She attended nursing school but did not graduate due to her marriage to Ray. She later received a degree in accounting from Milwaukee Area Technical College and worked at the Beauty Factor and Kubin-Nicholson billboard company as an accountant. Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting, playing cards and doing crossword puzzles.

Margaret is survived by her children, Michael (Linda) Hageman, Marc Hageman and Linda Sue Hageman; grandchildren, Glen, Dean, Steve, Laura and Shannon. She is further survived by stepchildren, Glenn (Debbie) Pinkowski, Dale (Pam) Pinkowski, Jeanne Rick (special friend Joe), Judy (Dan) Dern and Audrey (Mike) Krueger. She is further survived by step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy Orvis and her brothers Jack and David Rabener.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend WI 53095. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, January 18 from 10 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.

Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society (620 S 76th St, Suite 160 Milwaukee, WI 53214-1599), the Washington County Humane Society (3650 State Rd 60 Slinger, WI 53086) and/or St. Joseph’s Indian School (1301 N Main St. Chamberlain, SD 57325).
