Obituary | Sandra “Sandi” Jean Geier, 43, of West Bend, WI

May 17, 2022 – Washington County, WI – The soul of Sandra “Sandi” Jean Geier was called to her home with Jesus on Sunday, May 15, 2022. By God’s grace, she was able to face her final challenge with calm and courage.

Sandra was born May 11, 1979, in Manitowoc, WI to Steven and Linda Graczykowski. She was made a child of God at her baptism on June 10, 1979, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, WI, and affirmed her Christian faith at her confirmation on May 23, 1993, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Port Washington, WI.

Following graduation from Medford High School in 1997, Sandi worked as a CNA for a time. In February 1998 she enlisted in the National Guard, completing her basic training and AIT at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. During her time of service, she worked for the Army National Guard Bureau of Personnel in Madison and Wausau, WI. After 12 years of service, she received an honorable discharge in December 2009.

In May 2015 Sandi earned an associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College, West Bend, WI. While attending school Sandi worked for the Washington County Veterans Service Office and the Social Security Administration in West Bend. She went on to work for the Milwaukee VAMC as a voucher examiner. Most recently she held a brief temp job with Seek, in the mailroom at West Bend Mutual Insurance Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Harmony Geier, her parents Steve and Linda Graczykowski, a sister Sally (Marty) Kober of Pound, WI, a brother Gregory (Tracy) Graczykowski of Oconomowoc, a niece Grace Crabb of Minneapolis, MN, and two nephews Joseph and Jonathon Graczykowski of Oconomowoc, and other relatives and friends. Family was important to Sandi, most especially her daughter. She liked to knit and enjoyed her pets. Her favorites were her black lab Charlie, and two cats Rickel and Buttercup “Mr. B.”

Sandi was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, West Bend, WI.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 777 S. Indiana Ave., West Bend, WI, with visitation prior from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Church, the American Cancer Society, or the Wisconsin Humane Society.
