West Bend Police take 2 people into custody following reports of theft from vehicles | By West Bend Police

March 9, 2023 – West Bend, WI – On March 1, 2023 the West Bend Police Department received reports of three theft from vehicle incidents, two of which occurred at daycare facilities. The Washington County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of an additional theft from vehicle in their jurisdiction.

The suspects were believed to be a male and female traveling in a grey Chevrolet Camaro.
On 03/08/23 West Bend Detectives located the suspect vehicle and the suspects in the City of Milwaukee.
A 19-year-old female was placed in the Washington County Jail for Theft, Identity Theft and Criminal Damage to Property. A 25-year-old male was placed in the Washington County Jail for Theft, Identity Theft and felony warrants for his arrest from the State of Colorado.
As another reminder, always lock your car doors when your vehicle is left unattended.

03/01/23 – Officers responded to theft from vehicle complaints at two daycare facilities. The vehicle owners briefly left their cars unsecured while they picked up their children. An African American female with long hair braids and a heavy set African American male driving a slate gray Chevrolet Camaro entered the business lots and removed property from the unlocked vehicles.
