West Bend, Wi – Neighbors have been stopping and questioning the status of Don Tacos & Tequila, 326 Commerce Street, in West Bend, WI, formerly home to Moonlighting Bar & Grill.
The restaurant has been closed a more than a month. There is a note in the window on the front door that reads, “We are closed due to kitchen maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.”
So far there’s no timetable on when the location on Commerce Street will reopen.
The building sold July 9, 2021 to Felix Sanchez for $293,000. Sanchez already had one restaurant, Don Ramones, in West Bend and a similar venue in Mayville.

It was October 25, 2022, when Sanchez died following heart surgery.
