Feb. 13, 2018 – Slinger, WI – Senior night at Slinger High School for the Lady Owls was a very tense and emotional night for all.
The Slinger fans paid tribute to seniors Emily Rothenhoefer, Kylah Schmidt, Alea Marecek and Abbey Belling.
The visiting West Bend West Lady Spartans, played a tough game as Slinger led by a mere point at the half, 22 – 21.
The second half was a whole new game as the Lady Owls scored 33 points to the Spartans 14.
Coach Tony Dobson gave every player minutes and nine of the Owls finished in the scoring column.
Five Lady Owls hit 3-pointers. Rothenhoefer led the Owls in scoring with 15 points and junior Sidney Reinhardt dropped in 12.
Maddison Baker lead the Spartans with 12 points followed by Alex Rondorf contributing 10 points.
The final games for the girls will have the West Bend West Spartans traveling to Port Washington and the Lady Owls traveling to Grafton on Thursday evening.
