February 6, 2021 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West Spartans and Slinger Lady Owls tipped off in a decisive Northshore Conference game Friday night. The Spartans were looking to even the score after losing to the Lady Owls earlier this season.
Going into the game Slinger was in first place in the Northshore Conference. West Bend West came out strong and held a slim one-point lead at the half, 21 – 20.
Two times the Spartans had a 9-point lead and Slinger closed the gap but, in the end, West secured the victory, 56 – 48.
Next Friday, February 12 the two rivals face off in the WIAA Girls Basketball Tournament. The game will be at Slinger starting at 7 p.m.
