May 13, 2026 – Slinger, Wi – Slinger High School just raised the bar for its football games. A new video scoreboard was installed this week and local businesses are to thank for the collaborative donation.
“This was made possible by an exceptionally generous donation from Schmitz Ready Mix and J.H. Hassinger Construction, who are funding 100-percent of the project,” said Slinger superintendent Kristi Brooks.
“Germantown Iron & Steel and Aubrey Electric also assisted with the installation. This is a remarkable example of community partners giving back to our schools in meaningful and lasting ways.”
Slinger has a strong football history. The Owls won the WIAA Division 2 State Title in 2024. It was their second state championship in school history as the Owls also won in 1998.
