6th Grade: Quinn Koepsell is a quiet leader among her friends and respected by her teachers as well. She does everything a teacher wants from a student: takes pride in producing good work, pays attention and participates in class, is willing to do extra if it benefits others, and can be counted on to get any job done. Quinn takes the lead in helping out the little buddies in K5 by delivering their milk faithfully and helping out with math and preparation for recess. Quinn likes gym class, specifically enjoying volleyball, and wants to grow up to be an interior designer.

7th Grade: Ben Vogelsberg is a consistent student, who follows directions and can see the big picture. He particularly likes math but his confidence across all classes has grown throughout middle school. Ben gets along with his classmates and often takes the lead on group projects. He does well with hands-on projects, learning best in active situations. Teachers at Holy Angels also commend Ben for his responsibility as a patrol. Ben is an outdoorsman. He likes hanging out with friends, biking and fishing. In fact, if he doesn’t make it as a professional baseball player, he hopes to be a professional bass fisherman.

8th Grade: Mention Jackson Becker and every teacher at Holy Angels School will chime in with praise. It’s hard to find a more well-rounded student, and he is commended for his growth in maturity during his middle school years. He shows great curiosity in every class, although he prefers science. He has a thoughtful mind and asks great questions. In addition to excelling academically, he performed well as a soloist in the spring musical, is a server at Mass, and is a reliable patrol. Jackson currently expects to be an engineer when he grows up with an interest in software.
