  1. It’s a beautiful, absolutely gorgeous day here in the neighborhood surrounding the Trail’s Edge Apartment construction. Picture Book Autumn day. I should have all the windows in my home open and be enjoying just how wonderful the weather in Wisconsin can be. Alas, the constant BEEP-BEEP-BEEP of the safety horns being blared makes this impossible. It’s been like this pretty much all year. It’s akin to psychological torture. Non-stop. But, I understand just how important it is to the City to have as many apartments built in this area for the Great Downtown, Build Back Better agenda. The folks over by the old Brewery will be discovering this for themselves very soon also. It’s wonderful. It starts about 6:45 a.m., every business day and doesn’t stop until around 5:30, maybe later, and yes, sometimes sooner, but not that often.
I wonder how the city council people would feel if they had to listen to this non-stop BEEP-BEEP-BEEP, day in, day out.
Ah, but they don’t have to, do they?
Guess it pays to live in areas they haven’t designated as “Multi-Zone” districts.
