United Way of Washington County supplies in action  | By Kristin Brandner

April 16, 2020 – Washington Co., WI – United Way of Washington County Emerging Leaders has donated part of its funding to purchase masks for partner agencies.

We have raised $54,400 to date and have more requests pending for support from agencies. Thank you to Associated Bank, Meijer, West Bend Mutual Insurance, Horicon Bank, and various individuals for donating to the relief fund.

As the COVID-19 epidemic continues to spread throughout the United States and the world, United Way of Washington County’s Relief Fund has been helping local agencies deal with the crisis. This is the second week that United Way of Washington County has been granting awards to agencies. Awards have been granted this week to the following local nonprofit organizations:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boys and Girls Club
Boys and Girls Club has been granted an award from the established Relief Fund as service delivery has been impacted by the pandemic especially program operations.

4C Family Center
4C Family Center has been granted an award from the established Relief Fund as service delivery has been impacted by the pandemic especially as they are finding childcare or essential workers.

 

Senior Citizens Activities
Senior Citizens Activities has been granted an award from the established Relief Fund as service delivery has been impacted by the pandemic especially with operations as their revenue is membership generated.

Kettle Moraine YMCA
The Kettle Moraine YMCA has been granted an award from the established Relief Fund for offering childcare services to essential employees, first responders and health care workers. The Governor has made childcare an essential function at this time that have imposed multiple regulations that govern these services and the YMCA program continues to meet these demands.
