December 7, 2023 – Sheboygan Co., WI – On Thursday December 7, 2023, at approximately 3:33 p.m. the Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch Center received several 911 calls regarding a semi-tractor trailer that had flipped at the intersection of State Highway 32 and County Road J, in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. Â
Further calls indicated that potentially two other vehicles may have been involved. Â
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s deputies and two Orange Cross Ambulances were immediately dispatched as more information came in.
Preliminary investigation revealed it was a semi-truck and a single vehicle accident.
A 2017 Jeep Cherokee being driven by a 67-year-old female from the Town of Sheboygan was operating west on County Road J and had stopped at the intersection.
The vehicle then continued west and pulled into the path of a semi-truck traveling south on State Highway 32.Â
The semi, a 2002 Kenworth, was being operated by a 26-year-old male from Denmark, WI. Â
Both the operator and her 37-year-old passenger, also of the Town of Sheboygan, died as a result of their injuries in the collision.
The accident is still under investigation and names will not be released until after 10 a.m. Friday December 8, 2023.
