2 people killed in multiple vehicle crash in neighboring Sheboygan Co., WI | By Sheboygan Co. Sheriff

December 7, 2023 – Sheboygan Co., WI – On Thursday December 7, 2023, at approximately 3:33 p.m. the Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch Center received several 911 calls regarding a semi-tractor trailer that had flipped at the intersection of State Highway 32 and County Road J, in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.

Further calls indicated that potentially two other vehicles may have been 
involved.  

Sheboygan County Sheriff’s deputies and two Orange Cross Ambulances were immediately dispatched as more information came in.

Preliminary investigation revealed it was a semi-truck and a single vehicle accident.

A 2017 Jeep Cherokee being driven by a 67-year-old female from the Town of Sheboygan was operating west on County Road J and had stopped at the intersection.


The vehicle then continued west and pulled into the path of a 
semi-truck traveling south on State Highway 32.

The semi, a 2002 Kenworth, was being operated by a 26-year-old male from Denmark, WI.  

 

Both the operator and her 37-year-old passenger, also of the Town of Sheboygan, died as a result of their injuries in the collision.

 

The accident is still under investigation and names will not be released until after 10 a.m. Friday December 8, 2023.

 

The following public safety agencies assisted in this incident: Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Sheboygan Falls First Responders, and the Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Department, Johnsonville Fire Department, Orange Cross Ambulance, The Wisconsin State Patrol, The Sheboygan County Highway Department & the Sheboygan County Medical Examiner’s Office.
