July 31, 2023 – Ozaukee County, WI – On Monday, July 31, 2023, at approximately 1:16 p.m., the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a three-vehicle crash that occurred on State Highway 60 at Horns Corners Road in the Town of Cedarburg.
A 2007 Mazda 3 was westbound and stopped waiting to turn south on Horns Corners Rd. The Mazda was struck from behind by a 2016 Ram 1500 which was also traveling westbound. The Mazda was pushed into eastbound traffic where it was struck by a 2013 Hyundai Tucson.
The Mazda was driven by a 69-year-old female from Cedarburg. She suffered serious injuries and was transported by Cedarburg Rescue to Froedtert Medical Center, Wauwatosa.
The Dodge Ram was driven by a 39-year-old female from Waukesha. She suffered minor injuries and was transported by Cedarburg Rescue to Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. She was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
The Hyundai was driven by an 18-year-old female from Cedarburg. She suffered minor injuries and was transported by Grafton Rescue to Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
Assisting at the scene were Cedarburg Fire Dept., Grafton Fire Dept., Cedarburg Police Dept., Grafton Police Dept., and Ozaukee County Emergency Management.
The roadway was closed for approximately 1 hour during the investigation.
