VIDEO | Rebroadcast of Four Chaplains Observance; live Facebook event at 11 a.m. today

February 3, 2021 – Jackson, WI – This is a rebroadcast of the Four Chaplains Observance at Living Word Lutheran High School. An virtual observance of this event will be held live today at 11 a.m. on the Wreaths Across America Facebook page HERE.

On February 3, 1942, four Army chaplains gave their lives to save others. The troop ship, USAT Dorchester, carrying 902 passengers was torpedoed and sunk within 20 minutes. The chaplains gave their own life jackets to those who had none.  They were among the 672 who died that day.

The presentation was coordinated by Student Body President and Living Word Young Republicans Chairman Henry Bell.
