Washington Co. 4-H members in place for presidential inauguration in D.C. By Libby Willkomm

Jan. 20, 2017- Washington D.C. – The Wisconsin delegation including Washington County 4-H members made it safely to our spot.  We plan on watching the inauguration and returning to the National 4-H Center in the afternoon to watch the inaugural parade.

Tonight we will go on a dinner cruise on the Potomac.

 

Eleven members of Washington County 4-H are in Washington D.C. and will be in attendance at Friday’s presidential inauguration. 4-H members are filing stories throughout the week about their experiences, community-service projects and tours. About the author: Libby Willkomm is a sophomore at West Bend West High School. The 15 year old loves 4-H. “I enjoy the volunteering, being a camp counselor, participating in shooting sports, and traveling with the organization. Along with that, I am a very dedicated student and I manage the West Bend West Wrestling Team.
