West Bend, WI – West Bend Firefighters Local 2025 received a special Paul Harris Certificate of Appreciation for their volunteer work in the community.
Sunrise Rotarian Lori Yahr, a 3-time Paul Harris Award recipient, sponsored the special Paul Harris Certificate of Appreciation for the group.

“We’ve been active in a number of things including putting up the walls for the Santa House at Enchantment in the Park,” said firefighter Steve Inhof.
A lot of the work done by the local union is behind the scenes. “We also used to help set up the stage for Germanfest,” Inhof said. “That’s changed a little now, but whoever was free at the time would volunteer.”
According to rotary.org, “The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Rotary established the recognition in 1957 to encourage and show appreciation for substantial contributions to what was then the Foundation’s only program, Rotary Foundation Fellowships for Advanced Study.”
