West Bend Police make three OWI arrests over the weekend

May 22, 2017 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend Police Department made the following three arrests for OWI between Thursday, May 18 and Sunday, May 21, 2017.

OWI – 900 Block of Squire Lane
On May 18, 2017, at 3:52 PM, West Bend police officers responded to an area home to investigate a report of an intoxicated male at the residence making threats. The man drove away from the home prior to the officers’ arrival. A West Bend police officer observed the vehicle driving in the 500 block of West Decorah Road. The officer stopped the vehicle and observed signs that the driver was intoxicated. The West Bend man, 25,  failed the standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for OWI.

 

OWI / POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – 1500 Block of North Main Street
On May 19, 2017, at 1:52 a.m., a West Bend police officer observed a vehicle swerving in and out of the traffic lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and observed signs that the driver was intoxicated. The Jackson man, 43, failed the field sobriety tests, blew a .123% into a PBT, and was arrested for OWI. The man was also issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a marijuana pipe was located in his jacket pocket.

 

OWI – 2ND OFFENSE – 300 Block of North Main Street
On May 20, 2017, at 1:35 a.m., a West Bend police officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and observed signs that the driver was intoxicated. The West Bend woman, 25,  failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .187% into a PBT, and was arrested for OWI – 2nd Offense. The driver was charged with Obstructing an Officer after she provided a false name to the investigating officer.
