February 24, 2020 – West Bend, WI – As the West Bend School District is in the midst of searching for a new superintendent it is also moving forward with discussion on a November 2020 referendum proposal. Below are some of the items to be reviewed at the Monday, Feb. 24 meeting.
In April 2019 a proposed $47 million referendum with a $74 million total failed in the West Bend School District.
In October 2019 the West Bend School District Private Task Force unveiled a solution to the West Bend School District’s facility needs. The Task Force, which was an independent body, reported it could address the issues, including funding and declining enrollment, without raising property taxes. Click HERE for video.
