September 26, 2020 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West girls JV1 volleyball team came out on top against the Nicolet Knights in a 3-0 win with final scores 25 – 16, 25 – 6, 25 – 17.
There was great effort and attitude throughout the entire game for the West team.
Gianna Hemauer led the team with great serves ( 8 aces) that helped the Spartans secure the second game. Carolyn Lang (3 kills) and Clara Corbett (3 kills) had some amazing swings out of the right side and outside positions. Makenzie Grass played a tough middle (4 kills) Trinity Gierach led the team with 14 digs.
Great team effort throughout the entire game.
The Spartans JV1 is 3 – 0 in the North Shore Conference. Its next match is Tuesday, September 29 at home against Hartford.
