Winter weather advisory in effect starting 5 p.m. Monday

February 20, 2022 – Washington County, WI – Enjoy your Sunday warmup today because Monday is bringing in a change of scenery.
According to the National Weather Service, a winter weather advisory has been issued for the following Wisconsin counties:

Fond du Lac-Sheboygan-Sauk-Columbia-Dodge-Washington-Ozaukee-Iowa-
Dane-Jefferson-Waukesha-Lafayette-Green-Rock-
Including the cities of Fond Du Lac, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls,
Howards Grove, Oostburg, Baraboo, Reedsburg, Prairie Du Sac,
Sauk City, Portage, Columbus, Lake Wisconsin, Lodi, Beaver Dam,
Waupun, Mayville, West Bend, Germantown, Hartford, Mequon,
Cedarburg, Grafton, Dodgeville, Mineral Point, Barneveld,
Madison, Watertown, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Waukesha,
Brookfield, New Berlin, Menomonee Falls, Muskego, Darlington,
Shullsburg, Benton, Belmont, Argyle, Blanchardville, Monroe,
Brodhead, Janesville, and Beloit
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM MONDAY TO 6 PM CST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain, sleet, and some snow expected. Ice
  accumulations of up to one quarter inch and snow accumulations
  of generally an inch or less.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, south central and southeast
  Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From 5 PM Monday to 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the
  ice. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could
  impact the commutes Monday evening through Tuesday evening.
