August 9, 2017 – Germantown, WI – In the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 9, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is scheduled to begin a full closure of the WIS 175 and Lannon Road (County Y) Intersection, in Washington County.
The closure is necessary for reconstruction of the intersection into a roundabout. In addition to the roundabout construction, a box culvert under WIS 175 north of the intersection at Willow Creek is being removed and replaced.
All movements through the intersection will be prohibited until August 26, when it is scheduled to be reopened. The intersection will reopen only if it’s safe and operational with signing, pavement marking and lighting.
During this hard closure of the intersection the signed detour will involve I-41/US 45 via County Q.
